El paso de destino de ocio a zona urbana org\u00e1nica exig\u00eda una modernizaci\u00f3n de sus infraestructuras. Adem\u00e1s, al albergar una de las bah\u00edas francesas m\u00e1s bellas, la amenaza de riesgos medioambientales impuls\u00f3 el proyecto de renovaci\u00f3n completa de su frente mar\u00edtimo.
